A Cut Above was established in 2014 by Joe Brandom, who started the business during his time at University. Since then, the business has grown from strength to strength, and over the years has expanded into a team of qualified tree surgeons and landscape architects transforming outdoor spaces around Northamptonshire.
From our local domestic customers to our larger commercial clients such as CarShop and McDonalds, we continue to expand our portfolio and capabilities, thriving on the challenges that each job brings.
When commencing a new project we always consider our clients vision, and offer our recommendations on designs that will complement and add value to their property, whilst being functional and manageable for their desired maintenance level and horticultural skills. On completion of a project we offer expert aftercare advice for ongoing maintenance to ensure you get the most from your beautifully sculpted outdoor space.

Working with the environment everyday makes us appreciate the great outdoors and the importance of sustainability. That’s why we make every effort to preserve our green spaces by using reclaimed wood for some of our bespoke woodworking projects, and recycling wood from sites we have worked at.
To reduce our waste we create bedding and fodder for farm life stock using the excess foliage we remove from site. We carry out soil testing and remediation, and encourage wildlife friendly planting to help diversify the natural habitats in your garden. On top of that, 100% of our wood used is sourced from Britain, we do not import from overseas.
